This fabric reminded so much of the 50's era women in old TV shows that I just had to make a dress to match the fabric. So, I designed this dress in the style of that pink and orange dress you see in the fabric swatch below.

The bodice has a square neck and the entire dress is made of satin, including the satin ribbon sash.

The dress comes complete with a half-slip crinoline to make the skirt full in the perfect 50's style.

If you're like me, you remember scratchy crinilones from your childhood. I would never torture my child like that, so this crinoline is completely lined. Even my toddler doesn't mind wearing the crinolines that I make.
